Monthly Meetings   

The Sequoia Gem and Mineral Society has a meeting of its general membership each month, usually on the third Monday (with a few exceptions including holidays and the September Show, July Picnic, and December Holiday Party - check the Calendar ** for the precise dates). Meetings begin promptly at 7:00 PM and typically end around 8:30-9:00 PM. Meeting programs feature at least one presentation, plus drawings for specimens, and refreshments. Members also have the opportunity to borrow books from a library maintained by the club, to be returned at a subsequent meeting.

Unless otherwise noted, meetings will be held at the Redwood City Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Ave., Redwood City. In addition to the meeting room, SGMS has access to kitchen facilities and storage on site.

Board Meetings

Officers and Committee chairs generally meet on the first Monday of the month at 1400 Roosevelt Ave., at 7:00 PM.
